If KW hadn't gone missing he would have gotten a new state. We are in Louisiana.
We visited Poverty Point NHM.

So again KW is AWOL and he has missed another new state. We are now in Mississippi.
Went to Vicksburg National Military Park.
While driving into Mississippi we stopped at the Barber Motorsports Park. This is an awesome auto and motorcycle museum.

Well guess what, no KW and yet again today with another new state. Today we are in Alabama.
We went to see the Taladega Motor Speedway. We hadn't planned anything ahead of time, so we took a chance on getting to see the track. Well, NASCAR Cup drivers were testing so the track was closed. Mrs. tour guide was not pleased.
While checking the map for a place to head to, nothing was interesting to us. I look and see Augusta Georgia is only 200 mile away. So I called my big brother to see if he was home. He said come on down.

Home again, Home again, Jiggity Jig. Oops, wrong house.
The Prodigal traveler returns:
Hey tour guide, look who just got home. So I guess you have a wild story to tell us where you have been. Try not to embellish your story.

Ok, we started out to hitch hike to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras. The Rabbit and the Duck invited us. After hours of standing on the side of the road, no one would stop and pick us up. We saw some guy holding out his thumb and being picked up right away. We don't have thumbs.
We saw this VW Bug for sale cheap. KW, how much did this cost me? Don't worry tour guide.

So we got a great deal on it and we loaded up and headed off to New Orleans.
The parade was awesome. It wasn't easy getting up here.

People kept throwing beads at us.
We went to a party hosted by this guy Yosemite Sam.

Then we stopped off to see your brother. He is a little weird.
Then we headed off to Minnesota for the Super Bowl.
Then it was off to Philadelphia for the Victory parade.
I'm really glad this crazy fan didn't drop his arms.

And now we are back home safe and sound. KW, that sounds like a big fish tale. Tour guide, you know me. I wouldn't make this up.
PS:
We traveled through 14 states. Six new states this trip. We have now been to 40 states together. Drove over 9000 miles. Spent almost 250 hours behind the wheel.
TTFN:
Looks like a great time, my brother. Glad you are back in Edgewater safe. And with a pix of KW on my shoulder, how could you doubt his story? Oh, and speaking of pictures, where is the one my beloved wife so eloquently asked for?
