Day 14 - Off to see the Golden Spike.

On the road again. Today we go to Promontory Utah to see the Golden Spike National Site.  Hey tour guide, are you two the only ones in car?  Ok, we will wait till we stop. 

 

Hey tour guide, they sure do have big rocks around here. Oh ok, boulders. There big any way. 

 

Now this is better. The three amigos. Faaaaaley, Farley, Farley, Faaaaaaaley. 

 

She's stamping again. 

 

Ok, who's turn is it to stamp. Ok, let's roshambo for it. On 3. Rock, paper, sissors. Who won.  Ok, one more time. 

 

Hey tour guide, are we on the right train. Where are we going?  When do we get on board?  Do you think the engineer will let me drive?

 

This is the place where the final spike was driven to connect the Central Pacific and the Union Pacific rails together.

On the way to Twin Falls Idaho. Hey tour guide, look at that fire. What is it?  Oh, a grass fire. 

 

Wow,  look down there. Was is that?  Oh the Snake River Canyon.  Are there snakes in it?  

 

Woah, it is really far down there.  Can we get off this ledge. 

 

Watching the Yankees and Mets. Yankees win, Yankees win, the Yankees win.
