Day 28 - Watch out for that Glacier.

Hey tour guide, why is that dragon over there?  This is Alaska, isn't it?  oh, it's a Glacier.  What's a Glacier?  Oh great, now I have to wait till the end of this blog to find out.  I just don't like dragons.  ok, ok, it's not a dragon.  It still looks like one.

Whoa, whoa, whoa up tour guide.  Look at the size of that run away iceberg.  Ok tour guide, what is an iceberg?  Ok, again I have  wait till the blog is finished.

Hey tour guide, what is the name of this glacier? Oh, it's the Dawes glacier.

TTFN:

PS .....  A glacier is a persistent body of dense ice that is constantly moving under its own weight. It forms where the accumulation of snow exceeds its ablation
( melting and sublimation) over many years, often centuries.
