Capitol Reef National Park - Part 1

2108-01-09

Tuesday was spent packing to leave Hurricane and start the long trip back home.

2018-01-10

Excuse me tour guide, could we have a little more room back here please.  Now I know how Jason felt in the back of the Suzuki.

And we're off.

Finally we finish the Mighty Five National Parks in Utah.  Capitol Reef is the last one.  It may be the best of the five.

I think she drove the tour guide crazy getting to this one.

Hey look at us.

Hey tour guide, who's watching the Jeep.

First things first.  Mrs. tour guide stamping.

We are spending a few days in the Capitol Reef Resort.

Views from our room.

We are eating supper in the Pioneer Kitchen at Capitol Reef Resort.  Food was great.

Snow on the Mountains in Cedar City Utah.

More snow on the way.

More snow on the summit at 8385 ft.

Beautiful clear night with lots of stars out.  Only a few show up using the iPhone.

Hey tour guide, I was out taking pictures of stars also.  Look what I got.  You must have used the wrong ISO settings and shutter speed.  I used ISO 50 and 1/250.

So KW, if you were outside taking star pictures, how did you get a picture of the earth?  Oh ok, you got me there tour guide.
