This is our personal tour guide. KW named him Captain Kirk. His last name is Kirk. He is an Air Force Veteran. His knowledge of all planes was astounding.

A-37B Dragonfly (Supertweet). Made by Cessna in 1968 sent to Vietnam for the South Vietnamese. This plane saw action until 1975. It was built for short bombing and straffing runs.

  1. KW, I read a story from the Vietnam war in, I think it was, 1968. An American soldier was named "Kirk," like your tour guide in the museum. He and his men were under enemy fire, they radioed for help and then he broadcast over a loudspeaker, "This is Captain James T. Kirk. Scotty, mark our position and attack with phasers." Someone on the other side had been watching American TV, and frightened that it was the real Captain Kirk, they withdrew. I read it in Reader's Digest. It has to be true.
