Yesterday, Route 66 ends for now.

Seligman to Kingman Az. runs 87 miles on Rt. 66. On this leg if we passed through small towns of Yampai, Peach Springs, Truxton, Valentine, and Hackberry.

Angle Delgadillo, the guardian of Rt. 66. He 94 years old.

We had a picture taken with him. What a pleasure to hear him talk about preserving Rt. 66.

Money from all over the world stuck on the ceiling.

License plates on every wall.

Thousands of Rt. 66 items for sale.

Mrs. Tour guide talking with Angel's Son-in-law. He has so many memories and stories to tell.

Now for an oldie but goodie.

  1. Awesome pictures KW! Cruise Talker definitely appreciates the reminder about the Chat n Chew (was it in Cresaptown). I remember the last time I was there. My companions were The Bro and The Woodland Nymph.

Love the pix of Betty Boop. And the Rusty Bolt. I want to say that car is a Hudson Hornet, but I'm 90% sure I'm wrong.

    Great blog!
