We are off to this Antique Mall. Much better than Awesome. We did buy a few goodies.
Great Scrapbook store next door to the Antique Mall. They had this quilt hanging in the back. Beautiful stitching. And yes, I know quilt stitches. The Bro and the tour guide learned from the best Mom and quilter ever. We sat around the quilting frames stitching. It's made from 1930's grain sacks. The pattern is a Dresden Plate design.
Supper at Beks in Fulton Missouri in the Brick District. Food was good, service was not.
Shopping at Ozarkland in Kingdom City. This is a real nice gift shop/tourist trap.
Ok, maybe some goofing off too.
TTFN:
' Dog pile on the rabbit ' is from A Hare Grows In Manhattan. A Warner Bros. cartoon in the Merrie Melodies series, released on March 22, 1947 and directed by Friz Freleng. It stars Bugs Bunny and a pack of bulldogs.
And even thoughTour Guide and the Bro bbarely knew which end of the quilting needle to hold, mom never took our stitches out.
ReplyDeleteDid we sell the quilting frame or giveit to Becky?
