Are we there yet

Today is cold and rainy and we have almost 400 miles of driving KW, so get a move on.  400 miles, are we there yet?  At the pace the tour guides drive it will take us a long time to get to Memphis.  Well tour guide, I see you have gotten us doing up downs again.  I remember this from last summer. Are we out west again?  No KW, we are in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. These mountains are small compared to Utah.  I am not too happy with up downs either KW.  By the way tour guide, Mrs tour guide and CJ are anxious to go to a Walmart  Super Center. KW, isn't it you that likes Walmat?

Kings Peak is the highest mountain in Utah, with an elevation of 13,534 ft/4,125 m

The Great Smoky Mountains are a mountain range rising along the Tennessee-North Carolina border in the southeastern United States.  They are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and form part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province.

The World's Fair opened in Knoxville Tennessee on May 1, 1982 and closed October 31, 1982, after over 11 million visitors.  The Sunsphere, a 266 foot (81m) steel tower topped with a five-story globe, was built for the 1982 World's  Fair.  It still stands and remains a symbol for the city of Knoxville.

  1. KW, love your pictures of the Great Smokeys (or is that Smokies). Do you know a friend of your tour guide and mine named Smokey -- he Facebooks political commentary of which The Donald would not approve).
Congratulations, Tour Guide, on being Guests of the Day! May fortune favor you with more great surprises on your travel.
