Day - 10 Up the Ladders We Go

Hey tour guide, we are ready to go. Where are we going today? Well, tell me. Oh, back up to 7000 ft. Mesa Verde NP.  Why can't we ride in the front seat?  Oh the tour guides get the front seats.

 

Hey tour guide, we saw a dog hanging out the window. We want to do the same. Why not? We won't fall out the window.  Ok then, let's go. 

 

Stop, stop now. I am falling out the window. Ok, you can say I told you so. Whew, I won't ask to do that again. 

 

Wait a minute. We have to climb that 32 ft. ladder?  I almost fell out the window.  Now you want me to climb that ladder.  Ok then, as long as you carry me on your back. 

 

Say, that wasn't bad at all. Come on, we made it. You can do it.

Oh goodie, now we have to crawl on our hands and knees for 12 ft.  Did you actually pay to do this?

This is Spruce Tree House. We couldn't go see this one. It had a big collapse a couple of weeks ago. They are working to get it re-opened.
