Petroglyph National Monument stretches 17 miles (27 km) along Albuquerque New Mexico's West Mesa, a volcanic basalt escarpment that dominates the city's western horizon. Authorized June 27, 1990, the 7,236 acre (29.28 km) monument is managed by the National Park Service and the City of Albuquerque. The western boundary of the monument features a chain of dormant fissure volcanoes. Beginning in the northwest corner, Butte volcano is followed to its south by Bond, Vulcan, Black and JA Volcanoes. There are an estimated 24,000 images carved by Ancestral pueblo peoples and early Spanish settlers.

PS:

The second new state on Route 66. Jason, please don't ask how your mom got this picture. Oh well, you will so I'll save you the asking. Came off the exit for gas and potty break. After pumping gas, I am heading to the mens room. I pass your mom who says, I am going to walk over and get a pic of that sign. So she walks down the street, crosses a road and walks halfway up the off ramp and takes her pic. You had to ask.
Great pictures of the petroglyphs. Cool place. And bro, I'd keep her off of on ramps
